Ride For Daniel

On Sunday 8 June, during the Queen’s birthday long weekend, all motorcyclists and motorbike enthusiasts are invited to participate in Australia's largest annual motorcycle event, the Ride for Daniel fundraising appeal, to be held on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. Last year, over 5,000 riders took part. The sight and sound of these riders sent a loud and clear anti-child abuse message.

The 110 kilometre ride will leave at 10.00 a.m. (arrival from 7.00 a.m.) from the Big Pineapple car park heading past Daniel's memorial then north through scenic hinterland to Nambour, Cooroy, Yandina and through the coastal Coolum Beach area. The ride finishes at 12.00 noon, followed by an afternoon of camaraderie and the fun of an after party, at one of Australia's greatest icons, the Ettamogah Pub.
