Jandowae Timbertown Festival
The Jandowae Timbertown Festival has all the elements of past festivals and more. Starting Saturday there will be a Fun Run with barbecue breakfast. The Art and Craft show is on all day at the Memorial Hall followed by the dance featuring “The Countdowns”. On Sunday, a breakfast before the Ecumenical Church service starts the day, after which a street parade will lead to the Lions Park where the Festival will commence.
The Festival features are wood chop, performances, sideshows and rides, markets and displays. Food and drink will be abundant and there is a bar.
On Monday, the Bush Poets at the Caravan Park are followed by a three person “Ambo’s” Golf Day at the first class Jandowae Golf Club.
