Xstrata Greek Fest 2009
The Xstrata Greek Fest is a FREE cultural event aiming to provide a unique opportunity for North Queenslanders and visitors to North Queensland a chance to embrace both Greek and Australian cultures over a weekend of non-stop entertainment, wonderful cuisine, music and dance.
The 2009 Xstrata Greek Fest will bring a great deal of fun and excitement for the 35, 000 people who attend, with grape-stomping and olive spitting competitions, great children’s entertainment and rides, Greek cooking demonstrations and our fantastic Agora (marketplace). Look at for the photographic anthology of 100 years of Greeks and Cypriots in North Queensland.
