Sunferries Magnetic Island Race Week
Sunferries Magnetic Island Race Week offers world class sailing on the pristine waters of Cleveland Bay for racing and cruising yachts. Sailing divisions include IRC, PHS, Cruising with Spinnaker, Cruising Non-spinnaker and Sports Boats. All eligible boats are invited to participate in the series of day buoy course, passage and around the Island races. To compliment the on water events maritime favourites, the Wolverines, will perform live at the three main social events.
Friday kicks off with a Welcoming Night held at Peppers Blue on Blue to gear sailors up for the first day of sailing on Saturday. Saturday night heats up with a Beach Party with live music. The regatta concludes on Tuesday night with a Gala Awards Dinner at Peppers Blue on Blue. All social events are ticketed.
A supporter's boat will follow the on water events for those wishing to get a little closer to the action.
