The Rockhampton Rockets and Rockhampton Cyclones are Central Queensland's men's and women's basketball teams. Competing at state level, the teams have wracked up an impressive list of credits including 2008 QBL Mens State Champions, 2008 ABA Mens National Champions, 2009 Basketball Queensland Small Association of the Year, 2009 State Under 14 Bronze Medal Winners and 2010 QBL Mens State Champions.
