Based on the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
Directed by Stephen Beckett
A woman has died from 'unknown causes' in her bedroom. All the doors and windows were locked from the inside. There were no marks on her body, no signs of violence. Inspector Lestrade is at the scene of the crime, along with Dr Watson, who believes that the woman's sister may be the next victim. Watson brings the case to Sherlock Holmes, who suspects his arch-enemy Professor Moriarty is behind it. The game is afoot!
'Sherlock Holmes' is a drama based on a Play that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote over 100 years ago. Conan Doyle himself stated that the Play was his favourite of all the Sherlock Holmes stories. This wonderful adventure, set in London in the late Victorian era, includes all the classic Conan Doyle characters – Sherlock Holmes, Dr Watson, Professor Moriarty, Inspector Lestrade, Mrs Hudson, and more.
Note to theatregoers: Stephen Beckett Productions last production – Agatha Christie's 'The Mousetrap' – was a limited season of 4 performances only, and all shows sold out quickly. To avoid missing out on 'Sherlock Holmes' (another limited season of 4 performances only) it is recommended that you book your tickets early.
