National Tree Day 2009

Grab your shovels, its tree planting time. National Tree Day is an opportunity for all Australians to take a positive and active role in helping protect our environment. By planting native trees and shrubs, we can help to combat climate change, provide food and shelter for our wildlife and beautify our surrounding.

In 2008 over 300,000 volunteers planted 1.2 million native trees and shrubs at 3,500 sites around the country.

Everyone is encouraged to get on board with Planet Art and help in 2009.

For more information simply call 1300 885 000 or visit our website.

National Tree Day is organised by Planet Art in association with Toyota and the AMP Foundation.
