Port Adelaide Enfield Twilight Christmas Parade 2009
The 22nd Annual Port Adelaide Enfield Twilight Christmas Parade along the streets of Port Adelaide signifies the start of the Christmas season and brings the community together for an evening of fun and celebration in the iconic setting of Port Adelaide.
Many community groups join in the Parade, which adds to the colour, energy and local flavour of the event. Thousands of visitors and locals flock to the streets of Port Adelaide to witness a Parade that celebrates both the festive season and the vibrant Port Adelaide Enfield community.
The Parade starts at Baynes Place and travels along Commercial Road, turns right into St Vincent Street, then turns into Todd Street ending at Wharf Shed Five by the Port River.
See brilliant bands, fantastic floats, crazy clowns, creative costumes, community groups and of course, Father Christmas. A Free After Party kicks off at 7pm with live music, rides and amusements.
