Sensational Adelaide Classic Rally 2005

Since it was first run in 1997, Classic Adelaide Rally has become one of the world's great rallies. It is Australia's premier international tarmac rally for classic sporting vehicles and under its 'Sensational Adelaide' naming sponsorship, promotes South Australia to the world.

Classic Adelaide Rally engages the entire State as it brings the sight, sound and colour of a bygone era to the doorstep of more than a million people living within a 100km radius of Adelaide and past 60 per cent of Australia's grape resources.

A unique feature of the event, which has made it a favourite with participants, is it's 'hub' format. Each day's course radiates out from the high-profile Adelaide CBD start and returns for each night, allowing participants to enjoy the fine dining and hospitality, which made Adelaide famous world-wide during its era as host of the Australian Formula One Grand Prix.
