Adelaide Plains Cup Festival 2009
Come to the Adelaide Plains Cup Festival, celebrating the arts, food and culture of the Adelaide Plains region.
The festival culminates on the Sunday with the running of the Adelaide Plains Cup at the Balaklava Race Course. This is an eight-event race meeting which features the Adelaide Plains Cup, Colts and Fillies winner announcement, talent quest finals, Coopers Keg Roll, rides for the kids and after race party.
The Adelaide Plains Cup Festival also offers market style stalls, local art and craft and music. There are a variety of events taking place during the Cup Festival, all over the Clare Valley, including dinners, exhibitions and displays.
The festival has been designed as a community event that allows the separate communities to showcase themselves and then all come together as a large community event enjoying each other's company.
