Terowie's Days Of Rail And Screen 2010
The Terowie citizens association will be hosting a tag along tour to take in the breathtaking panoramic views of the eastern station country. A picnic barbecue lunch will be provided at a nearby location, featuring the remains of an old bullocky track, parts of which feature dry stone embankments and flood way crossings. Participants need to bring their own chairs and suitable footwear for walking on rough terrain. Ordinary sedan cars will find the dirt track easily negotiable.
In the evening, we will screen a classic feature movie on our immaculately preserved reel to reel projector.
Saturday will give visitors the opportunity to visit our many museums. We will screen a matinee movie in the early afternoon.
There will be a Terowie Citizens Association hosted barbecue in the local Hotels beer garden, before a night of entertainment back at the institute with our variety show, featuring local talent.
