BHP Billiton Whyalla Gift Carnival / Food and Wine Fair 2009
Events Whyalla in conjunction with Whyalla Mount Laura Lions Club are pleased to announce the 2009 Whyalla Gift Carnival in conjunction with a Food and Wine Fair.
The event will feature: Little Athletics, King and Queen of the Mountain and South Australian Athletic League Races. The two feature events will be ‘King and Queen of the Mountain’ and ‘The Whyalla Gift’.
In addition there will be a full program of running events for males and females with prize money totalling in excess of AUD15,000.
The Food and Wine Fair will have a wide range of gourmet foods together with two wineries offering tastings and sales and will be situated on the oval this year giving greater comfort to the patrons as well as getting a lot closer to the athletics action.
A jumping castle and giant slide together with face painting etc will be available for the junior members of the family.
