Yankalilla Agricultural Show 2008
A typical South Australian country show held at Yankalilla, only a one-hour drive from Adelaide. Attractions at the show include horse events, sideshows, art and craft displays, cookery, entertainment, live music, motorbike action, family circus and an animal nursery.
Yankalilla has a village atmosphere and is nestled in the valley of the Bungala River. This quaint historical town is home to the Shrine of Our Lady of Yankalilla. The Agricultural Museum at Yankalilla is well worth a visit and is open every Sunday afternoon. A walk along the tree lines streets viewing its rural architecture, cottage gardens and chatting to local folk with please. Yankalilla is home to a number of craft / bric - a -brac stores and a range of eats. For the kids, a visit to the Youth Park and its impressive skate ramp and BMX track is a must.
