Millicent Agricultural and Horticultural Show
Usually held on the first weekend in November, the Millicent Agricultural and Horticultural Show is an annual event which features the best local produce, livestock, exhibitions held in the halls, an array of stalls, great food, sideshows and show rides, horse jumping events, refreshments, parades and more.
On Friday night, 7 November 2008, witness the night sky as it lights up with a spectacular colourful and dazzling display of fireworks. Also come and see the adrenalin pumping Moto-Cross racing. Come and see the 'Freestyle Motocross' where competitors perform daring yet astonishing jumps and tricks. Enjoy live entertainment, music and much more.
Saturday 8 November is a fun-filled day for all of the family with a busy sideshow alley, local displays and exhibitions, competitions with great prizes to be won, and a special parade around the grounds in the afternoon. It is a great weekend out for everyone!
Sunday 9 November is a day for the judging of animals including livestock and the popular dog show.
The Millicent Agricultural and Horticultural Show is held at the Millicent Showgrounds. Access to entrance gates via Adelaide Road and/or Mount Burr Road, Millicent.
