Robe Village Fair 2009
The picturesque and tranquil town of Robe is set to rock as it plays host to the Robe Village Fair.
Featuring The Screaming Jets, Lowrider and Boom Crash Opera, the event will continue its strong tradition of presenting leading Australian rock performers in a family – friendly atmosphere.
The Robe Village Fair is proud to include an international component in its 2009 line-up. The Batucada Sound Machine will have the crowds on their feet as the twelve piece New Zealand band performs its unique fusion of Brazilian Batucada, Pacific, Cuban, and Afro-beats with a fresh take on hip-hop. The Batucada Sound Machine will perform on both Friday night and Saturday.
Other Entertainers will be from The BordererS, The Smugglers, Colonel Mustard and The Ticklish Allsorts.
The high quality musical entertainment will be complemented with local food and wine and a variety of activities to engage all members of the family.
