MG Plasterers Bayside Festival
The MG Plasterers Bayside Festival is a community organised family festival held annually on the first Sunday in January on the Port MacDonnell foreshore. The annual festival attracts around 8,000 people and offers 60 stalls offering food, children's rides and activities, arts and crafts and great live entertainment throughout the day.
Each year the program offers national entertainers and cultural projects, as well as all the traditional favourites including the fun run, triathlon, octopus throw, pie eating competition, yabby races, vintage car display and great live entertainment all day.
The festival serves to promote Port MacDonnell and surrounding districts by featuring local produce, entertainers and novelty events. The Festival promotes the coastal culture of Port MacDonnell as well as providing affordable fun and entertainment for people of all ages, great for visitors to the area.
