Southern Ports 33rd Golf Week
The Southern Ports Golf Week is a tournament catering for golfers who have an official handicap. The week consists of stroke play golf played on each course during the week. Golfers are divided into grades of both men and ladies. Players play both for daily prizes and for a overall championship trophy for a 54-hole championship in each grade.
Friday 22nd - Robe 9-Hole Competition
Saturday 23rd - Pinehurst Foursomes (Men's Beachport, Ladies Robe)
Sunday 24th - Mixed Pinehurst Foursomes (Kingston)
Monday 25th - Round 1 54-Hole Championship (A-Grade at Beachport, B-Grade at Robe and C-Grade at Kingston)
Tuesday 26th - Beachport 9-Hole Ambrose (11am start followed by seafood luncheon, book at Clubhouse)
Wednesday 27th - Round 2 54-Hole Championship (A-Grade at Robe, B-Grade at Kingston and C-Grade at Beachport)
Thursday 28th - Cray Bake Kingston (9-hole competition from 3.30pm hit off, crayfish or chicken meal, book at Clubhouse)
Friday 29th - Round 3 54-Hole Championship (A-Grade at Kingston, B-Grade at Beachport and C-Grade at Robe)
Saturday March 1st - Mixed 4BBB Stableford Kingston (trophy presentation and Dinner at Robe 7.30pm)
Use of motorised buggies\carts are allowed on all courses during the tournament.
Competitors and their friends enjoy the fellowship, which is an important part of the week’s activities. The local seafood and wines help make this week a very enjoyable week for about 400 players from 50 different golf clubs.
