Hoteliers Race Day at Murray Bridge 2008
This is a unique event in the Murray Bridge Racing calendar. It’s a day where the local pubs get involved, sponsor races and help create a traditional Aussie atmosphere trackside. It’s about having a few drinks with friends, relaxing and enjoying a day off in the middle of the week. Many business groups also get involved, and use the event to entertain clients. If you want to experience a true country race meeting just 45 minutes from the city, then head on down to Murray Bridge. Fully catered and hosted Marquee packages are available and include a guest speaker.
Murray Bridge is situated 78 kilometres from Adelaide, approximately 40 minutes drive down the South Eastern Freeway and has a population of around 18,000 people. Murray Bridge is a hub of river activities, including water sports, houseboating, fishing and swimming, particularly during the summer months when the town experiences a regular influx of tourists and holidaymakers
