Cobdogla Irrigation and Steam Museum Humphrey Pump Operating Days 2008

The museum originally was a major project to commence South Australia's 150th birthday. It focuses on the area's irrigation history, particularly the unique Humphrey Pumps.

Australia's 'Big Thumper" is alive again at the Cobdogla Irrigation Museum. The world's only working Humphrey Pump has been carefully restored and is demonstrated along with a steam locomotive, steam traction engine, oil engines, tractors and machinery from the early development era of the Irrigation Areas.
Other attractions include rides on the diesel train, which runs twilight rides over the warmer months.

Come along and enjoy a great day out for the whole family and drinks and ice creams are available for purchase.

The open days for 2008 are 23 March, 20 April, 8 June, 13 July and 5 October.
