Riverland Field Days 2008
The Riverland Field Days is an agricultural and horticultural expo and is broadly based with many exhibits of interest to the whole community. The principal focus is in horticulture with emphasis on irrigation. However, there is a wide range of exhibits in crafts, home improvements, personal care, clothing and others. Community services are well featured including women and men’s health, police services, emergency services, government departments and agencies, financial institutions and others.
Special events are also a feature, such as cooking demonstrations and special band performances.
There is also an educational theme with the Riverland schools presenting as well as many colleges and Tertiary and Further Education. The event is well catered for with many food and drink stalls.
