Moonta Antiques and Collectables Weekend 2008
Are you thinking of a weekend away? Then why not plan a trip to Moonta on 1 and 2 November 2008 for the 12th Annual Moonta Antiques and Collectables Weekend.
There will be a wide range of antiques and collectables for sale in the Moonta Area School gymnasium, where there will be some 26 exhibitors displaying their wares. Antiques for sale will include furniture, china, glassware, silver ware and kitchen items.
Collectables for sale will include bottles, brand name products, model cars, hand tools and timepieces.
While in town, you might also like to visit the Moonta School of Mines where members of the local branch of the National Trust will help you research family history. You might like to visit the museum out at Moonta Mines, or enjoy a coffee at one of the many outlets in town. A leisurely stroll along the beach or along one of the jetties is a very relaxing experience.
