Twilight Markets at the Old Moonta Railway Station 2009
On 10 January 2009, between 3pm and 8pm, the Moonta National Trust will conduct a Twilight Market at the Old Moonta Railway Station - and they are not to be missed.
Crowds flock to the stalls, which feature crafts, toys, collectables, jewellery, books, produce, and bric-a-brac; and there’s plenty of food and drinks available, including old-fashioned sweets from the Moonta Mines Sweet Shop.
The National Trust tourist train will be running, leaving the station at 5pm, 6pm and 7pm. Climb aboard and enjoy a commentary of the mines by the train driver.
Admission to the market is free, so bring the whole family along, grab a bargain and enjoy a twilight atmosphere together during the holidays.
