Village Green
The streets of Kadina will come alive at the first major event of the Kernewek Lowender. The day begins with a traditional Maypole and Furry Dance. Over 100 children and adults participate in the street parade in full traditional costume.
The President of the Kernewek Lowender will declare the festival open at Kadina's Victoria Square with brass bands, Cornish entertainers and singers and dancers joining in the celebrations.
The square will be lined by dozens of craft stalls laden with country-made goods and specialties. There is something for everyone at the Kernewek Lowender. A great day for all the family!
