Syncopation

Syncopation is a smash-hit fusion of comedy, drama, romance and ballroom dancing set in the exciting rush of New York City in 1912.

This beautiful story tells the tale of Henry Ribolow, a Jewish meatpacker with a dream of becoming a ballroom dancer, and his search for a dance partner. He decides to place an ad in the paper: 'Give your life a lift. Wanted: A dance partner to dance for royalty' and Anna, an Italian Catholic seamstress unsatisfied with her life, summons up the courage to respond. Sparks fly.
