Come along to The Fingal Valley Festival which will feature the world coal shoveling and roof bolting championships as well as the tree felling championships.
The Fingal Valley World Coal Shovelling Festival holds world mining titles (coal shovelling & roof bolting), recognised by the Guinness Book of Records.
Additional features consist of a shearing competition, yard dog trials, wood chopping, veterans' cycle race (Fingal to Mathinna return) and sheaf tossing.
Other activities include sideshows, food and craft stalls, rides, children's entertainment and a cabaret at night.
