Brighton Agricultural Show
Wood chopping, sideshow alley, show bags, animals, food, baby quest plus lots of free entertainment. Come along and enjoy a "little bit of country".
One of the oldest local shows, the Brighton Agricultural Show still retains its classic country feel.
We cater for almost all animals with various competitions including beef cattle and cattle handlers, stud sheep and trade lambs, dairy and angora goats, fleece, hall of industries, photography, wood chopping, dog competition, dog high jump and championship, pet parade, pigeons and poultry. We also have a large baby quest through to show ambassador, with great prizes being awarded.
We also have side show alley. Ground space is available to community and other groups at good prices. Great music will be heard over the grounds during the day along with whipcracking and Make Believe Shows. Also check out the Chainsaw Woodcarving with Eddie Freeman.
This year we will also have a new and improved "free activities" area for children near the main arena.
Don't park on the highway - free and safe parking is available inside the grounds.
