Dollshouse and Miniatures Extravaganza
An extravaganza of scale miniatures on display and for sale featuring a 1/12th scale Museum.
Come along to the historic Long Gallery in the Salamanca and see some amazing scale miniatures on display.
Traders will be offering a variety of exquisite handmade miniatures and commercial miniatures and components for sale.
MET will exhibit our Art Gallery of scenes in frames showing some of our activities from each year since we began in 1987, this year our club turns 21!
We will also exhibit our new Museum in Miniature, in 1/12th scale, involving exhibits on convicts, Art Gallery, life in Antarctica, ancient Egypt, Tasmanias flora and fauna, the rocks and minerals, the early furniture of Tasmania, the childhood room and a series of collections, including glass, silver, china, jade carvings, coins etc.
Remember, it is all 1/12th scale or smaller! We also hope to have an exhibition of miniatures made by school children.
