Spring Tulip Festival
Weekend full of music, dance, food, fun, tulips and stunning displays of other spring colour
Enjoy a weekend of music, dance, fun and of course tulips at the Spring Tulip Festival , Southern Tasmania's major spring celebration.
Since its inception in 1985, the Tulip Festival has grown into what is possibly Tasmania's foremost celebration of Spring. In recent years, wide community support has allowed the Festival to reflect the myriad cultural communities that constitute Tasmania in the early 21st century by enabling the Gardens to showcase food, music, dance and cultural activities from more than one dozen diverse community groups.
The Spring Tulip Festival offers around many diverse food stalls, with options including traditional Dutch treats plus Swiss, Indian, Chilean, German and Asian foods available, as well as contemporary Tasmanian produce served in the Gardens Restaurant and associated stall.
Plenty of good coffee, local wines, healthy and tasty salads, home-made cordials, ice creams and other desserts ensure that there are plenty of choices for Festival goers
