A cultural and historical festival including exhibitions, tours, displays, workshops and performances
Celebrate heritage and culture at this exquisite festival.
Each year the Festival adopts a theme with events focusing on that topic, and often showcasing collections, sites and stories not normally accessible to the public.
The objective of the Festival is to educate the community and lead the community in celebrating our heritage, and to raise the level of awareness of the need for ongoing support to help conserve our heritage for the future.
The Tasmanian National Trust invites community groups and local government bodies to undertake local events/activities that help draw attention to some aspect of Tasmania's unique heritage.
The National Trust, with sponsorship assistance, produces a free-of-charge program of events- which is distributed throughout Tasmania and in the local newspapers.
