Wrest Point Silver Anniversary South East Rally

A Rally and Touring Event of South East Tasmania for Veteran, Vintage and Classic Vehicles.
See some great veteran, vintage and classic cars and motorcycles touring Tasmania and also watch them perform at there best in a nominated speed timed event (to 40 miles per hour).
The Wrest Point South East Rally is the annual flagship event of the Post Vintage Car Club of Tasmania, supported by our naming rights sponsor, Wrest Point. The Rally is a nominated speed timed event (to 40 miles per hour) for all veteran, vintage and classic cars and motorcycles held over one day in January each year. Normally 120 vehicles participate, most from Southern Tasmania.
2009 marks the 25th running of the event and to celebrate our Silver Anniversary we are inviting interstate and intrastate car clubs to join us over the three days of the Australia Day long weekend.
We will conduct the traditional Rally on Saturday the 24th January, and have organised touring events to our picturesque and historic destinations on the 25th and 26th January. We anticipate the number of entrants in 2009 may double.
The Rally is preceded by a Classic Car Show in the boardwalk gallery of Wrest Point in the week leading up to the event.
Registration will be during the afternoon of Friday 23th January 2009 and the event will conclude on Monday 26th January 2009
