Shout - The Musical

Shout, an all singing and dancing tribute to the Legend of the wild one, Johnny OKeefe.
Fans of Johnny OKeefe can expect a fantastic night of entertainment at the Princess Theatre.
From the company that previously staged Rent, Fame, Chess, Footloose and Hair; G-String Productions presents Shout the Musical.
This great Australian Musical written by John-Michael Howson, David Mitchell, and Melvyn Morrow is an all singing and dancing tribute to the Legend of the wild one, Johnny OKeefe and Australian rock and roll. It reminisces about the Australian music scene and his life from the mid 50s to the early 70s.
Johnny OKeefe was born to entertain. A tear-away at school he turns his back on a solid future in the family furniture business and starts his career singing at dances around the Sydney suburbs.
Shout the Musical celebrates the life of this King of rock and roll. A man who created a revolution in the Australian entertainment business by forcing promoters to realise that Australians wanted to see Australians and their music.
Shout the Musical will be produced by G-String Productions by arrangement with HLA Management, Exclusively licensed by Origin Theatrical Pty Ltd.
Show times are 8:00pm from 24 - 26 July, with a 2:00pm show on 26 July.
