Kellevie 300
Off-road buggies and sedans traverse river crossings & twisty bush sections over a specially built course.
See fast off road racing through a valley alongside the Calton River and upholds what off roading is all about - a test of endurance for competitors and machines alike.
The Kellevie 300 Circuit is on private property on Tasmania's southern peninsula near Copping. This bush terrain circuit winds up around two sugarloaf shapped mountains and includes two bridge crossings, two river crossings, some tight and twisty turns in amongst the trees, a couple of jumps in front of the spectators and also some fast running on the straights.
Most of the circuit can be seen from the spectator arena.
Held over two days, the vehicles complete a prologue on the first day to determine the start order for the race. The ten fastest cars from the prologue then battle it out again in a top ten shootout with the winner crowned the 'Kings of Kellevie Top Gun'
On race day the vehicles endure all kinds of terrain and conditions over several heats before the outright winner is determined.
Catering is available with hot and cold food and drinks.
