The Surrey Hills Music Festival was established in 2010 and features a large variety of acts from soloists to choirs, offering food and refreshment, workshops and demonstrations. The 2014 Festival will include even more activities for children and a special program for emerging artists. The festival is the suburb's standout annual community event and its only dedicated music festival embraced by locals and visitors to the area.
Over the past four year, the festival has featured some of Australia's finest musicians and successful bands. A snapshot of recent years includes: distinguished jazz pianist, Tony Gould and cellist Imogen Manins; delightful vocal ensemble Coco's Lunch; successful young band The Tealeaves; talented young singer Sarah Wilkinson, as well as a range of popular festival favourites including hilarious male choir Men in Suits and Melbourne's own crowd-raising The Band Who Knew Too Much.Visit Website
