The Tuggerah Lakes Mardi Gras Festival is one of the longest running festivals in Australia, and will be celebrating 62 years in 2013.
Each year, this famous family festival continues to draw the crowds to this coastal town. There is never a dull moment at the festival - with the crowning of the Queen, entertainment for the entire family, rides and of course the famous Ducks for Bucks.
Since it's inception, the festival has shown significant growth. It was originally conceived as a means to raise funds for local charities; however, it has now become a major tourist attraction.
This year will be no exception, with 2013 aimed to be the biggest and the best Mardi Gras The Entrance has ever seen.
