Long Lunch on Historical Noojee Trestle Bridge
As part of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, the Gippsland Gourmet Country Tourism Association annually hosts the regional long lunch event in the West Gippsland region. For the last three years the event has been held on the Historic Trestle Bridge at Noojee. It has been spectacular in many ways and guests have provided us with some amazing feedback. We have been fortunate to receive some wonderful media coverage of the event.
The 2008 Long Lunch was held in Civic Park, Drouin with a strong arts theme. The Gippsland Artists teamed with Gippsland Gourmet Country Tourism members to present an amazing lunch on a gorgeous summer day.
Gippsland Gourmet Country are still working on plans for the 2009 lunch.
