Loch Arts & Crafts Festival
Over 20 host spaces will show works in a range of media including painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, photography and jewellery in diverse styles from traditional to challenging.
Most pieces will be for sale and many of the artists will be present to discuss their work.
A catalogue containing a venue map of Loch village will be available to assist the visitors.
Commission on sold works and catalogue sales will be donated to the Loch community Development Association to fund future arts projects that have been earmarked in the Loch Village Overlay. These are an art path linking the market to Smith Street and a sculpture for the wetlands at the Northern end of the Village.
On the day the entire village including the service station, Greenhills respite care centre, antique shops, general store and pub will have arts and crafts on show.
There are two established galleries in Loch with a quality range of works to view and buy.
There will also be exhibitions of works in the streets enhanced by live music.
This is an innovative and positive way for the arts community, businesses, local residents and visitors to come together.
Loch Village is a beautiful backdrop for the arts, offering the visitor shops and eateries that compliment this whole day experience.
