Fryerstown Annual Antique Fair
First held in 1975, the Fryerstown Annual Antique Fair is now one of the largest in Australia. This wonderful country fair, which is reminiscent of English fairs, is extremely well known and popular, drawing about 30,000 people to a small rural town with a population of around 120. The proceeds of the fair go to the upkeep of the Burke and Wills Mechanics Institute, the local hall that was constructed in 1863.
