Kyneton Olive Oil
Kyneton Olive Oil produces award winning Extra Virgin Olive Oils, Infused Extra Virgin Olive Oils, Table Olives and Tapanades.
Located 20 kilometres east of Kyneton in Central Victoria - Approximately 1 hour or so drive north west of Melbourne GPO.
Having our own press, ensures the quality and texture of our products are of the highest possible standards.
Visitors are welcome to view the pressing shed when visiting on our Open Weekend Queen's Birthday long weekend (in June).
Our 'Family Selection' Extra Virgin Olive Oil has won us many awards and praise. It was recently awarded a GOLD MEDAL at the AOA Awards for our 2005 Harvest.
This Extra Virgin Olive Oil is robust with long lasting flavours and is for the olive oil connoisseur.
Our Infused Extra Virgin Olive Oils can complement many dishes. Lemon Infusion is wonderful over fish, Basil is great on tomato based dishes and Ginger or Chilli can spice up a stirfry.
Our Nonna's Crushed Olives are processed using traditional methods that go back several generations. Absolutely delicious.
We hold an open weekend every year where we encourage visitors to visit the grove, sample and purchase products, wonder through the olive grove and/or view the olive press.
We also conduct cooking demonstrations hourly from 11am to 3pm daily for the duration of the open weekend. Wine Tastings from local wineries, tea, coffee and cake is also available in the cafe.
Visitors can sample new season's products or get tips on how to use olive oils or simply relax in the cafe and have a cuppa and delicious home made cakes.
