2008 Great Victorian Bike Ride

The 2008 Great Victorian Bike Ride is the ultimate cycling holiday. It is a nine day, 590 km cycling and camping adventure, this year covering some of Victoria's most beautiful countryside between around the stunning Grampains National Park.

This years marks the 25th Anniversary of the Ride and for something special this will be the first 'Loop Ride' in the events history. Starting in Ballarat, the ride travels south to Rokewood, through the corangamite lakes to Cobden, across to Mortlake and up to Dunkeld, before heading into the heart of the Grampians for a rest day at Halls Gap.

The route then wraps itself around the other side of the Grampians mountains to Lake Bolac, through the windfarms to Beaufort, before heading back to Ballarat for a heroes finish!
