2009 Australian Open Men's and Women's Road Cycling Championships
Ballarat and the community of Buninyong are proud to host the 2009 Scody Australian Open Men's and Women's Road Cycling Championships.
The 2009 championships will showcase some of Australia's best male and female cycling talent. Witness our Tour de France stars, Commonwealth Games and Olympic heros battle to be crowned Australia's best road cyclist.
Four days of exciting racing in and around Buninyong, near the historical town of Ballarat. Starting with a the men's under 23 and women's time trials,, Elite Men's time trials, followed by some fast racing on Saturday with the Men's under 23 road race and the women's road race in the afternoon. Cluminating on Sunday, Jaunuary 11, with the men's road race to see who can take out the title of Australian Champion!
Buninyong will be the place to be to watch the best cycling in Australia in 2009!
