Polar bears, big cats, wolves, crocodiles, snakes and sharks the sheep are running for cover as the National Wool Museum is taken over by predators of all shapes and sizes!


Developed by Questacon The National Science and Technology Centre, Eaten Alive The World of Predators is an exciting and highly interactive exhibition that is full of hands-on activities for people of all ages. From well-known carnivores such as sharks, lions and crocodiles through to predatory insects, the exhibition explores fearsome jaws and claws as well as some of the more subtle techniques used by predators to survive. By merging the latest robotics with interactive techniques, the exhibition combines thrills and fascination with education in an unforgettable experience.


The National Wool Museum is offering a range of educational programs targeting students from pre-school to secondary school.


Particularly popular with students has been the Bite Me quiz experience, which presents information from the exhibition in a fun, interactive game show-like atmosphere. The new preschool and early year s program provides children with a magnifying glass and a sense of adventure as they embark on a journey through the exhibition to discover which creatures have the hairiest legs, the sharpest teeth and the loudest roars.
