Beat the Winter Blues ?n? Jazz weekend
The Milawa Gourmet Region, in North East Victoria, turns up the heat again as it hosts the Beat the Winter Blues n Jazz weekend (11-13 July). The event, now in its third year, is popular with audiences and performers alike, and noted for its friendly, relaxed feel. It hosts performances across the Milawa Gourmet Region s wineries, cafes, restaurants and pub, with the aim of showcasing great music amidst the Region s fine food, wine, accommodation and atmosphere.
This year s line-up of bands will deliver a range of musical styles, from raw acoustic delta blues, old country tunes and rootsy folk-ballads, to Cajun-influences and a diversity of jazz forms.
Whilst many gigs are free, booking with venues, especially for meals, is recommended.
