The Bright Spring Festival is in its 20th year offering a jampacked variety of attractions and events. Last year the Festival was one of four finaslists in the Victorian Community Achievement Awards.
Locals proudly open their garden gates to boast their colourful bounty, with sensational new gardens being added this year. The Bright Spring festival blends food, wine, music, theatre, environmental community get together, devoted to the celebration of all things Spring and is a highlight of the season.
From cultural events such as a short award-winning film festival, a festival play from Melbourne The Dame on the $10 Note , a decorative arts exhibition & sale, a monster street market, several fetes, devonshire teas, a family bike ride with free barbecue, a Four Peaks Climb. Improve your photographic skills with an expert, visit an exhibition of contempory & traditional textiles art & craft, indulge in a chocoholic's event and the Bright Vehicle Preservation Society is celebrating its 30th anniversary and not to be forgotton 'The Grand Fireworks Spectacular & Concert', there is something for everyone, for all ages and all budgets.
Bright is in the beautiful north‑east high country. It is set in the Ovens Valley with the Ovens River running through the town.
