Film Fest @ Falls is film with altitude
Now in its fifth year, the festival celebrates the vibrant energy of Australia's emerging independent film makers, showcasing cutting edge works in the short film competition, live script reads, and new feature screenings.
Film Fest @ Falls is a mountain top celebration of Australian filmmaking, a barometer of new talent ahead of the curve. The intimate alpine setting provides a forum for new cinematic artists to introduce their work to key industry decision makers.
Hosted by the Falls Creek Alpine Resort Management Board on the opening weekend of the 2008 ski season, the festival has a cash and industry sponsored prize pool valued at over $30,000, with films selected by a panel of industry professionals and prizes awarded by an independent jury.
