Mount Buller Sprint
The 2008 Mt. Buller Sprint is already shaping up to be the biggest and best yet, with a number of teams signed up more than six months out. This action packed hill climb event attracts a big following due to the thrills and spills of the sprint. The Mt Buller Sprint is made up of a minimum of ten timed runs up the 16km Mt Buller Tourist Road, which is closed to the public during the rally. There will also be a prologue in the center of Mt Buller Village to determine the starting order. Entrants will be sharing the Mt Buller stage with some of Australia's best known drivers, including multiple Bathurst 1000 winner and dual MtBuller Sprint winner, Jim Richards, and highly competitive tarmac rally regulars such as Jeff Beaumont, Tony Quinn and Jason White. The event is open to modem, post January-1982, and classic, pre-December 1981, models, with a variety of classes and categories according to engine size and degree of modifications. Come to Buller for a different dose of motor sport action.
