Lavandula's Swiss Italian Autumn Harvest Festival

Lavandula is good to visit in all seasons: spring daffodils and birds nests, summer lavender and food crops, autumn blue skies and leaf colour, winter bare trees and visible garden structure... You can explore Italian rural architecture of the 1860s in the Barn, the dairy and by visiting the stone farmhouse.

In autumn when golden poplar leaves drift down and deep red grape leaves climb the walls at Lavandula, our Swiss Italian Autumn Harvest Festival salutes the Italian heritage of the farm.

Join the olive harvest and learn how to: grow olive trees, use the right olive oil, pickle olives, get your oil pressed, bottle fruit, make jam, roast chestnuts. Local food and wines. Italian music, singing and dancing the tarantella. Colourful wintry textiles, and illustrated talks on travel in Ticino.

Relax in a beautiful European garden, play petanque or loll on a rug under the trees.
