Macedon Ranges Jazz & Heritage Festival - Kyneton
Kyneton, in Central Victoria, comes alive to the sounds of the best traditional jazz bands in the country between October 10 - 12, 2008.
Heritage buildings across the village host jazz and dancing over the weekend and music will burst onto the street with street busking and the all new "Mechanics Marquee" right in the centre of town.
Bring your dancing shoes and be ready for a laugh as New Orleans, Dixie, and Cajun sounds raises the roof on Kyneton.
The opening night Cabaret Ball on Friday 10th features two outstanding jazz combos who will turn back the clock to the grand 'ol days in the beautiful Kyneton Town Hall. Price includes 2 course meal. Dress to impress and call in the babysitters!
Open gardens, cellar door openings, fetes, heritage tours, and the Kyneton farmers market will keep you busy across the whole weekend.
