Southern Classic Festival of Motorcycles
The trade show, swap meet, club displays on site catering, bar 6pm - 11pm, bike display, community market, children's art and the Southern Classic Rally as well as open pits and the ability to talk with anybody, it has all the hallmarks of a great weekend. 2007 celebrates the 26th running of the Southern Classic and the 5th year of the associated Southern Classic Rally.
The on-site camping adjacent to an active race circuit makes an interesting backdrop, the 2007 event will have in place some security procedures to ensure the family style of camping is maintained.
A curfew of 11pm is in place, along with restrictions on vehicular movements at 10.30pm to respect the fact that the event is based around a racing environment.
Each year a different manufacturer is selected for demonstration.
