Taste of Melbourne
Taste of Melbourne is the latest show to be launched in the international Taste series. Other events held annually in London, Edinburgh, Bath, Dublin, Birmingham, Johannesburg Dubai have been incredibly successful attracting over 150,000 visitors each year and this event promises to be a huge success in Melbourne.
Over 3days at Taste of Melbourne, the city's top 15 selected restaurants will each sell 3of their signature dishes in sample size portions. This dining extravaganza is complemented by 80of the best specialty gourmet food and drink exhibitors. Visitors will be entertained through live performances at The Chef Theatre where viewers will learn how their favourite chefs do it best. The Wine Tasting Theatre is where the either the complete beginner or experienced wine connoisseur can polish their palates with expert sommelier. The James Squire Beer Academy gives guests the opportunity to discover specialty beers and how to pair them with food. Visitors also have the opportunity to attend Meet the Chef sessions for an informal chat over a glass of wine. All of this set against a background of live music. Between sessions, mingle with fellow diners with a glass of sparkling wine at the Chandon Bar or relax in one of the stylish lounges.
