The State of Design Festival is Victoria s peak design event. The 2008 Festival in July offers local and international conversations on design, covering cross-disciplinary design agendas relating to the profession of design and marketplace it provides to.
Under one Festival umbrella, the best local designers will be honoured through the Premier s Design Awards, others will be discovered at our trade fair, Design:Made:Trade. The Premier s Design Awards are a biennial awards program developed by the Victorian State Government to recognise excellence in the realm of design practice in Victoria. The Premier s Design Mark is an award acknowledging distinguished design skills and their contribution to shaping the future.
